Technical & Software Licensing

1. Custom Code License

Unless otherwise agreed in a specific project contract, all custom code developed by NeedleCode for its clients is delivered under a proprietary license. Upon final payment, the client is granted a perpetual, non-exclusive, non-transferable license to use, modify, and host the code for its intended business purpose.

2. Open Source Software

Our solutions often leverage open-source software, including but not limited to:

• WordPress: Licensed under the GNU GPL.
• WooCommerce: Licensed under the GNU GPL.
• React / Node.js: Licensed under the MIT License.
• TailwindCSS: Licensed under the MIT License.

The use of these technologies is governed by their respective licenses.

3. Third-Party Plugins & Themes

For projects using third-party commercial plugins or themes (e.g., ACF Pro, WP Rocket), the client is responsible for maintaining active licenses for these products unless specifically included in a NeedleCode maintenance plan.

4. Asset Attribution

Icons used on this site are provided by Lucide and Font Awesome under their respective open-source and commercial licenses.
